About Us

At our practice, we believe therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale—a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. We bring warmth, clinical expertise, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; instead, we tailor our approach to fit you, helping you reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and move forward with intention. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, we’re here to walk with you—because growth happens when you feel safe enough to show up as you are.

Kate

Hi, I’m Kate. I know how isolating it can feel to navigate stress, grief, or major life changes on your own. Many of us walk through life carrying heavy emotional loads—trying to care for everyone else, hold everything together, and smile through the overwhelm.

That’s why I approach therapy as a place where you don’t have to do it all. A place where you can exhale, feel supported, and come back to yourself. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I hold space for you to reconnect with your inner voice, clarify what matters most, and live more authentically and abundantly.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, CA #94190

Since becoming licensed in 2016, I’ve worked with adults, adolescents, couples, and families to navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship struggles, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and gently direct. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—instead, I follow your lead and integrate evidence-based tools and insights to meet your unique needs. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology, with a concentration in Cognitive Science, from Wesleyan University. After graduation, I worked in a clinical treatment program in Chicago supporting families of children with ADHD and Autism—an experience that helped shape my early clinical foundation and deepened my passion for working with others. I went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University. Now based in Brentwood, I’m honored to support clients as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone. I’m here to walk with you.

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, CA AMFT #150594

Supervised by Kate M Grogan CA LMFT #94190

Hi, I’m Alejandra.  I was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and my journey into the world of mental health was inspired by my passion for self-growth and healing. This led me to certify as a life coach through the Co-Active Training Institute, where I focused on creating self-love workshops for women of all ages. However, I soon realized that I wanted to deepen my knowledge and therapeutic tools, which led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California, where I graduated in 2024.

My clinical experience spans working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, but my passion and expertise lie in supporting women’s

mental health, emotional well-being, relationships, self-esteem, existential concerns, trauma, and chronic illnesses. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is

at the heart of healing, and I strive to create a space where my clients feel truly seen, heard, and empowered.

My approach integrates warmth, curiosity, and collaboration to help clients navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness and resilience. Whether you are experiencing transitions, relationship difficulties, or deeper emotional struggles, I am here to support you in your journey toward growth and healing.
